In the exhibition, the Secret World of Butterflies, visitors were taken into an immersive butterfly garden filled with the sounds of caterpillars chewing, pigs grunting and birds whooshing past. For this video, I interviewed sound designers and curators about the creation of this jungulous sound piece, shot behind-the-scenes footage of foley artists at work and edited together a three minute video about the creation of this immersive soundscape.
One of the key attractions in the exhibition, The Secret World of Butterflies, was a large immersive digital garden. In this video, I interviewed 3D artists, content interpreters and curators to find out exactly how it was conceived and created.
By piecing together select snippets from this footage, I then cut together a 60 second supercut to promote this exhibition over our social media channels.
The resulting videos received over 15,000 views on our social media channels and the supercut was played in Aotea square during the duration of the exhibition.
In this video, I overlaid clips with a number of animated graphics to show how people can challenge themselves and challenge poverty by undertaking this 50-100km fundraiser. So far, the video has received over 10,000 views across Oxfam's social media channels.
In early 2015, I worked as a volunteer at the Charles Darwin Foundation and during my downtime, I managed to travel around the islands to take a few wildlife snaps.
The islands were full-to-bursting with animals and they were completely unfazed by the presence of humans, so they made very good photographic subjects.
These photos were re-purposed for web-banners, e-posters and infographics.
For this project, I worked with a team of creatives - from animators to sound designers - to create this series of videos for our Learning and Engagement team at Auckland Museum.
In 2015, I produced, scripted and edited 25 video and audio clips for Puke Ariki's Taranaki Naturally gallery. All of the clips are available to view on the STQRY smartphone application.
In 2015, I worked with a team of volunteers to shoot and edit this short clip to help celebrate Show Me Short's 10th Birthday.
To mark the anniversary of this historic cyclone, I created a 30 second video to show how Fijian communities hard-hit by this category 5 cyclone are building back.
Often to explain a complex or abstract idea it is best to use animation, so I have started to create a series of simple animations for my clients.
